There is a good chance that Orlando will make the playoffs AND get a top three pick from Golden State. That has got to be a good feeling.

Not to mention a shot at landing both Duncan and Hill...

A big time draft site has tried to stunt our growth, but we will succeed!

If our pick is higher than the Golden State pick, what do you think about trading ours to Orlando for the Warriors' pick plus the Magic's real pick which should be around 11-15?

I'd rather get two first rounders and the Magic probably only want one since they want to keep their cap room free for Duncan/Hill.

Actually if things go according to plan, we would WANT to keep the high pick as since the talent pool is very small right now, and if we get in, shouldn't trade down.

Well, we'd know who has declared for the draft and who hasn't before such a trade is possible. So the Rockets should be able to calculate if there'd be anyone worth taking at 11-15. I think it is possible that it would be worth it.

It is hard to say whether or not Orlando is going to want their pick. It will count against their cap. However, they will have to renounce quite a few players in order to sign Duncan or Hill, and may need that pick to revitalize the roster. I think the rookie scale is a good enough value for teams that Orlando may prefer that salary to one of their veteran FAs.
