Man, the Magic have even more of a Houston flavor that we thought:

http://www.nba.com/magic

"Magic Add Four Assistant Coaches
The Orlando Magic have named Ron Ekker, Chris Jent, Clifford Ray and Morlon Wiley assistant coaches, General Manager John Weisbrod announced today. The four join assistant coach Paul Westhead on Johnny Davis’ staff."

Jent seems to be some kind of folk hero around here.

[IMG] Jent was a hottie back in the day.

Orlando should have hired Walt Williams since he actually played with Steve, Cuttino and Kelvin.

Westphal would have been a good fit with this bunch. You can always count on fun play coming from him. Not that it neccessarily translates into a winning squad.

Westhead is the moron that the Nugs hired after they fired Moe ( ). The coach that thought, "You know, it'd be a good idea to have the team practice in the swimming pool". Ugh.

Westhead was the guy at Loyola Marymount when they used to score about 140 a night.

Westhead won a title with the Lakers before Magic got him fired.

He was the real author of "Showtime".

Steve is going to love him.

Paul Westhead makes Don Nelson looks like a defensive genius.
