Opposing 40+ point games in Game 7s

I don't think so. There's only been 1 40 point game 7 performance prior to these two, IIRC. I think that's what they showed during the game, at least.

It's amazing to say the least.

 

And everybody else on the court offense was straight ass.

 

well just checked and apparently bird only scored 34 to nique's 47 in that game 7 shootout they had so it's possible no one has done it. although i would think in the higher scoring era of the 60's it must have happened at some point.

 

it has never happened before, so actually it is a big deal

lol. I remember one year where they had 3 baskets...so if it went through like the very top one it was like a 75 pointer or something. I don't remember if they counted it if it fell through the baskets below it too but for some reason I seem to remember them doing that too lol.
