It's down to Fisher OR Hudson

How come I haven't heard anything from the Rox yet. It's time to step it up and offer deals for Fisher or Hudson. I might lean toward Hudson now since he's much younger and shoot pretty good and can take over game, the reason i say this is because Fisher will be destroyed by the Western guards...getting Fisher has its positive and negative. Positives being fundamental, good shooter and passer. Negative in that he can't guard BIG TIME guards and will be exploited come Playoffs time....he's not good at pick n roll since he hardly done any in LA and since the Rockets offense need a PG to do pick n roll with Yao occasionally.

Positive about Hudson is he's a good shooter and can light it up but maybe erratic and not fundamental...but surely playing under the Wolves' offense or Flip Saunder should allow him to be fundamental somewhat so i might take a chance on him. Does he play defense? I don't know and since Fisher can't guard Western guard anyway...i'll take Hudson since being younger and more athletic and can do pick n roll with Yao. And surely he and McGrady is going to do some sick fastbreaks on the court.

It's time for CD to step it up and offer Hudson a deal!!!! I would think he wants to come here as he already said so!

If it's between the two, I'll take Snow. His numbers are better than Fisher's, with the exception of 3pt %. Snow's is .111, ouch!!!!!

Snow's 3-pt field goal percentage is a little bit skewed. He only attempted 18 shots from downtown the whole season.

At the very least he's smart enough to know that he doesn't have good range. He doesn't take shots that he knows he can't make. I don't think can really go wrong with either Fisher or Snow. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, but both would be decent fits for our team at the moment.

The only thing that really concerns me is Snow's long contract.

um....Hudson is to eratic, not a pass first point guard.

Fisher may be a good fit.

Snow is just garbage. I can just hear it now, dont shoot snow. We needs shooters people why cant yall understand that.

I think at this point if the Rox were never really in the Brent Barry sweepstakes then we have absolutely no idea what they are thinking.

I agree with the thought that they should let some of the free agent signings take their course because I think most of the free agents are be grossly over paid.

There is other talent out there that is comparable that will come a lot cheaper once the initial rush ends. What I am most curious about is how the Rockets plan on using the trade exception.

The good news is that Snow has made 41 more NBA 3pters in his 9 year career than you or I have.

The bad news is that we have 0.

    9 years and he's made 41 3pt shots.

I'd rather see us pay anyone else - Wilks included - Matt Maloney included - than bale out the 6ers with that contract. Even if he only made vet min - I'd pass. And don't say we get rid of Spoon's 2 year contract. Spoon is the toughest rebounding pf we have right now. Over paid - yes but only for 2 more years. Snow's contract and contributions are horrendous. Why do you think he's the most hated 6er by their fans? And you'd want him for 5 more years? Do you think his numbers are going to get better?

Don't mess up a good thing by getting Snow.

Just say no to the Snow.....

At one time I wanted him, but the team is different now, and so are our needs.

Antonio Daniels or Damon Jones. Still keeping eye on Hudson or Snow.

    Wolves offer Hudson 5-year deal

The Wolves have offered Hudson, who opted out of the remaining $2.1 million on his deal for next season, an $18 million, five-year deal, with incentives that could make it worth $25 million. What is significant about the offer is that the incentives, which emphasize playing time, are fairly easy to attain if Hudson performs as expected. If all went well for Hudson, who underwent foot surgery late last season, he could end up earning about $23 million.

The Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors also have expressed interest in Hudson.

What bother me about daniels is that after Avery johnson signed elsewhere, he was suppose to man the pg spot, but Pop turned it over to a 19yr old pg and traded Daniels. I think if the Rockets can't get someone at a good price, they might be inclined to let Lue run the pg and have maybe Gaines back him up.
