I was wondering if anyone knows where we can find a vid of the opening night intro video and lineup from Saturday's game? It was very cool, much like last year's playoff vid/intro.
That is last year's "40 years of tradition" video though ... that plays before the actual intro. That is not this year's video intro unfortunately. I would love to get a high-quality version of the 40 years of tradition video though.
I know of that video, but it's not the one I'm talking about. It was simliar to this, but with the new roster. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JPEblUMqhIA&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JPEblUMqhIA&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Absolutely incredible opening video for this season. Of course, I couldn't help but think what kind of video I could make if I had every existing piece of Rockets footage in high quality. Not to mention access to the players... Yeah, I'm jealous
Check that out ... at the 41 second mark (-2:31) comes the words: "IT'S TIME" That wasn't the slogan until this season.
i like this better, 2007-2008 nba season intro on tnt <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/69SBZ_mRrpo&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/69SBZ_mRrpo&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Boy, Yao's face looked INTENSE at that 19 second mark. These videos are awesome. Can't wait to see if anyone has this year's intro vid.
i actaully got the opening on video but you cant tell whats on the big screen at all...well some comes in. i cant zoom in too far on my digital camera. you can hear the crowd, the announcing for the most part but i cut it off after snyder was introduced. i kinda regret that part
100% AGREED. Stronger has a nice message...but it's the beat of the song that's supposed to get the players and fans pumped up. Poor selection with that song. But, from what Feigen's been writing in his chronicle blog, the PA team at toyota center really dropped the ball for the entire in-game presentation on opening night.
What do ya mean? On a related note, I think our PA guy is so much better than say the Spurs guy. Just listening to the Spurs PA guy during their ring ceremony made me think he was so boring, and his voice doesn't get you hyped up like our guy does.
