Dear Rudy and CD Please do not draft Ming if all the i's havent been dotted and t's crossed. Do not think you can still come to a agreement after Ming is drafted.Once Ming is drafted, all bets are off. China will know the have you at their mercy. While I'm not a fan of Ming (dont believe he will be the inside force we need), I have come to the point where I'm going to take a leap of faith and trust your opinion. Give China a deadline of 8a tomorrow, if no decision is made by then trade the pick to the clippers. Get Odom, #8 and #12 for the #1 and KT (good player, great contract but doesnt fit). Then trade the #8 and #37 to clev for the #6 (throw in another years 2nd rounder if you have too). Draft Amare at #6, Draft either Nacbar or Woods at #12, draft the best available big man at #15 (Ely or hasilip). While you might not sell the same # of season tickets to start the season but by the middle of the season, this team will be the rage of the NBA.
NO ODOM TOO MANY NEGATIVES RT & CD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!(I HOPE) Lets us all put our trust in them and support their selections!
Rudy and CD, Please don't listen to the people on this board who want to destroy all the work you have done on the team over the past 3 years. Take the best players available and give the team time to mature. Rudy, tell Steve if any one within the organization is the FRANCHISE it's you. Thanks for all the years of loyal service. VDP
Dude, this is the exact waste of server space that Clutch asked us to avoid. You don't want Ming, fine. But put in one of the other eleventy billion threads dedicated to this topic.
Please don't listen to the people on this board who want to destroy all the work you have done on the team over the past 3 years. Take the best players available and give the team time to mature. It's not a guarantee that Ming is the best player or even the best fit for the Rockets. How many jump shooters do we need. Amare has more potential for being the inside force/intiminator that the Rockets need. It's simple, 1 definite and 3 possibles are better than 1 possible even if that possible is 7'5. Would the Rockets take Ming if he wasn't Asian? It's more of a business decision than a basketball decision. I don't have a problem with that at all. But don't put Ming heab and shoulders (no pun intended) over the other players
