I have no words for what i have seen tonight. I am truly blessed to be a child of the greatest nation on the face of the planet. Personally, as a black man I thought I would never see the day. As an American, I have always been proud whether it was my 2 years spent in Iraq or my 2 weeks defending American policy while visiting France.

Its amazing to see the world reaction to how this presidential election has turned out.

To Mr. McCain: Personally I think you are a great person. I think the divisiveness in your campaign was you playing to a base that you needed to be competitive. I think Bush screwed you over TWICE. I appreciate your concession speech and I hold you in good esteem from what happened on the campaign trail. I loved the McCain of 2000 to a point that I would have voted for you had you been the nominee. God bless John McCain. Your concession speech was my ideal of what America is and what you are.

To America: The people have spoken. United we stand, Divided we fall! As a patriot it is what I truly believe. I have traveled the world and trul there is no greater country than the one we live. Tonight it has been proven. One thing I learned in my time in Iraq was we are a better people when we fight together. For the most part, there was no black and white. There was onyl US! Lets put the divisiveness behind us. Lets go forward together (trader_jorge) this includes you. It is the only way we can leave a better country for our kids (I have 2 soon to be 3).

To The GOP: Your partys core and true conservatives are vital to a stable America. However you must find a way to include "all people" in your party. See America has many different faces, you must engage me, listen to me, and try to understand me as much as I try to understand you. Please in the future extend your olive branch so I dont feel like the odd man out when i am around the majority of your party. This country needs balance. Thats when we are at our best. Lets leave move away from the divisive politics and get to the issues. Transform yourselves into the 2000 John McCain and I will be more than happy to sit at the table and listen to you.

To the democrats: You have a great oppurtunity to lead from the CENTER. To reel in government spending. To help those who truly need help. To renew Americas standing in the world. Dont blow it with BS earmarks and the crap politics we've gotten used to over the last 8 years. Dont fall into the trap of corruption because you feel your power has no limits. Learn from the past (8 years). As quickly as you rise, you can fall! Do whats right for the people of the united states. PERIOD!

America is now LEFT of CENTER.

United we stand, Divided we fall!

Iroc it - Basso - TJ and all the other GOP supporters: Please give him a chance, the same way most moderate democrats gave Pres. Bush a chance in 2000.

    God Bless and good night.....

I had conceded to Obama being our President after the Democratic Primaries. I never thought McCain was going to have a chance at the Presidency. Heck, Ronald Reagan would've lost to Obama in this election cycle if he were running. This just wasn't the time for ANY Republican.

I do agree that this is a great opportunity for us to take this country into the 21st Century and lead the world. I'm giving my full support to our Commander in Chief and our President of the United States - President Obama.

I do have some doubts but I'm willing to give him a chance but as you said...As quickly as he has risen...he can fall. One thing this election has proven, Change can come at any time. I think the American people have finally realized that We ALL can make a difference whether you are Black, White, Latino, Asian, etc. So as quickly as the American people voted Obama in, we can quickly vote him out if he doesn't work out.

Nevertheless, I am excited at the prospect of having a country where we are all truly United! God Bless us all and God Bless the United States of America!
