As most of you probably know already Zac has taken over the OOTP league, but I have not seen the new link to the site posted - so here it is: http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/league.htm And btw... damn... what the hell are Vogelsong and Westbrook doing starting games? hmm *checking injuries* hot damn - my season is over - I'm officially protesting the transfer of the OOTP file - first Hoefer and his *nice* development - now Ryan Anderson out 4 weeks.
Thanks for starting this thread, Heath-o. I uploaded the sim from last night and am going to sim again tonight.
Updated through games of 9/1; current league date is 9/3. Incredible race in the AL West, and the NL East could get verrrrrrrry interesting.
I have a question. Can anybody translate the abreviations for batting statistics and the like? What does "GS PA HP IW CI GDP GW SH SF TB EBH" mean? What about ISO?
GS= Games Started PA=PLate Appearances HP= Hit by Pitch IW= Intentional Walk CI= Catchers Interference GDP= Grounded into Double PLay GW= Game Winning RBI's SH=Sacrifice Hit SF= Sacrifice FlyTB= Total Bases EBH= Extra Base Hit ISO= Isolated Power** **In the 1950s Branch Rickey and Allan Roth developed a measurement called isolated power to examine extra base hits separately from singles. Isolated power is simply the difference between slugging average and batting average.
Updated through 10/8. Cubs have come back into a tie for the NL wild card spot, Texas has stormed into the AL West lead, other races pretty much settled unless you believe Boston can overcome a four-game deficit or San Francisco a six-game one. Toronto and Atlanta both have a shot at the NL wild card too, at 3 and 4 games out, respectively. As it stands, playoffs would be: Cleveland vs. Texas Richmond vs. Boston Houston vs. Arizona New York vs. Chicago/Sao Paulo I believe 10 games remain in the season.
Wow. Thanks alot Castor. Is there a website I can go to that has alot of baseball information, or did you just know that already?
Should be updated through the end of season/beginning of playoffs by a decent hour today. Congrats to the teams that got in: Texas vs. Cleveland Boston vs. Richmond Arizona vs. Houston Sao Paulo vs. New York Sammy's Cubbies were within a game with 1 game remaining and did their part by winning, but Sao Paulo came back from one run down in the 9th to win their game and the right to face New York as the wild card. Playoffs should begin the night of 4/21.
