Let me start off by saying the game is very much improved over the last version. The new look and feel of the game is nice. THe stuff you liked in the past is still there with so much more added in. I highly reccommend that if you get this game you definitely go to www.ootpworld.com and get the updated rosters by Rolen and also the Facepack. The facepack adds player faces to their page and gives the game a more realistic feel. The best new feature IMO is the new a well designed messaging feature. Anything you need to know about your team is sent to you thru ingame emails. I have received trade requests for players listed on my trading block(another new and really cool feature) as well as guys that were not on the block. I have recieved messages from players wanting to negotiate contract extensions and mail from my GM on player development(on a side note here. I am also using the new feature of teaching players a new position in the minors. My a Defense RF has already increased his CF defense to a B) I have even recieved mail from my PR people telling me that my Castor27 bobblehead promotion was a total success. I have tinkered around with the online league stuff. I will post a link to my season after 1 month. It looks very similar to the current version except that when you access a team page you can also see any message for you, as well as, there are lots more ratings and stats being used in the game. The html designer in the game is scheduled to be upgraded to most likely something similar to the html designer in the FBB sim.
I don't know about anyone else, but www.ootpworld.com is not working for me. The website main page works, but none of the links to downloads works. Rosters, facepak, stadia, they all give me a "Page not Found" error. Is it working for anyone else?
