Congratulations (he said, gritting his teeth) to the Minnesota Twins, who not only came back from a 3-1 deficit in the ALCS to beat the Yankees, but fought back from 2-0 and 3-2 down in the World Series to knock off the Phillies in 7 games. Free agency will not be until next week because my fall break is Wednesday through Sunday and I will be home again. This means you all have quite a lot of time to resign any players you may want to; if you do, please post who you want signed in this thread. If no one seems to need resignings, I can initialize the new season just before I leave Wednesday so that you folks can drool over or curse about the rookies.
Well, Monday through Wednesday is out for me; however, I may not be signing anyone anyway. A lot of it depends on looking at my updated ratings report once you initialize the new season. I would prefer Thursday because that would give people plenty of time to look at things, but if others want to do it before Thursday, I guess I could send a list of players to someone (it will probably only be a player or two).
Thursday would be best for me...but, like Manny, I won't be going after many, if any, free agents. I could easily send a list of a couple of targets.
The only day I cant really do it is Monday, and Wendsday may be a problem also. To be honest the best day for me would be Tuesday. . after that B-Ball starts and I will have limited time. Still there are only 8 or 9 guys that I want IF we cant do it on tuesday or a time I will be busy I will send you a list of guys I want and how much I will pay for them.
The Only day I can't do it is thursday. But I like those above will probably not be going after a ton of people. So a list is a good possibility for me. CK
