update is up, that pleases me greatly.

Couple of things though. Doublecheck the signings and lineups for your team with what you put in the lineup/resigning threads, just want to make sure that something doesn't get lost in the shuffle, and that manager doesn't start b****ing about it. *cough*Manny*cough* ;)

If memory serves my correct we were at the trading deadline 7/31, but the first boxscore is 8/4 or so, so you are not showing enough boxscores.

good to see a sim though

damn - what kind of a rookie league are you running Chuck?

    Lineups man! LINEUPS!

    You got to do them!

I seriously suggest loading the save you got from Castor - and do the f'n lineups BEFORE you sim!

    I demand a recount... do-over sim!

No kidding. I didn't trade for Drew and Izzy so that they could play in AAA. Yikes!

And I specifically sent Rheinecker down because he, um, sucks right now, yet every time that f*cker pitched, he got hammered.:(

It is a miracle that I didn't do worst than 7-7, and considering how crazy this season has been for the wild card, I cannot afford to lose games because the wrong guys are out there like Kelton, Jason Johnson, and Rheinecker instead of Drew and Izzy. But I agree with Heath, re-do this past sim with the correct lineups put in.

Also, the update has stalled at Montreal.

And on signings, is there any way that you can tell us what guys want they didn't re-sign such as more money or more years, etc?

    Thanks

That should say "what guys want that didn't re-sign" instead of they didn't re-sign.

Damn this no edit feature to hell!

For me the record is not that important, I dont know how good or bad I did this sim (increased lead with 1 game though) but I so much anticipated the introduction of future star Jeremy Hermida that not seeing him play in the chance he got with Pierre injured is devastating. I could even lose all the games in a resim just to see Hermida and it would not matter.

    Chuck,

I am sorry if I came across as harsh. I know this is a tough job to do, and I am glad that you took it over.

It is just disappointing to wait a week for a sim and see that changes (signifcant ones at that) for my team did not get done.

I still have faith that I can get the wild card because I know the talent of my team; however, I also thought I would be right behind you in the Central right now instead of 18 games back, lol.

One thing I have learned since doing the OOTP sim is that you can never take anything for granted with this sim.;)

Oh, I probably came of harsher, but I also agree Chuck will do a great job. He just need to get a resim going first. Call it the baptising. :p

Back to the initial question though. Neither of my guys are signed so I guess Castor only did trades?

I had 4 guys with demands, and agreed to what Castillo wanted, but as Chuck knows I will turn every dollar five times so I tried lowballing the rest of them. You will find it in the resigning thread Chuck. Just offer what it says there in my last post and tell me what they want/say if they're not signing.

    Chuck,

I made two trades that were not put in. BIG TRADES at that. I'm sure alot of this stuff just fell through the cracks with the transfer of control. Check out my trades with the Rangers and Cards as neither were done.

    Thanks.

Chuck is fixing to re-sim, so I guess everything that is put to mention makes it in. Or he could just check the trade thread too.

Nice. I won 6 more games or so in the re-sim with my bhoys in. But the only page I find updated is the standings, so I think the update either stalled or didn't take.

Yea, I did better, too although at the expense of losing Prior (yet again) to an injury.:(

Also, something must have happened to Izzy because he didn't play much. Hope it is not another one of those dreaded "phantom" injuries like the one that Kenny Lofton suffered at the end of the 2003 season.

yeah, it stalled... the actual box scores don't match the scores on the page either.

For me they still match, but that is only for being the old scores. You see any new scores (as then I would be having browser problems)?

yes, the scoreboard part of the boxes page is updated with new scores... the problem is that the actual box scores don't match.

Also, my team page isn't updated. There are a few others in the NL like that as well.
