Congrats to NYKRule's Yankees, who took the Series from DHR's Cardinals in 6 games. There won't be very long to resign your current players - post here by 8:00 central Sunday if you want to get a guy resigned and I'll do what I can. Should update with trades/new season initialized over Sunday night/Monday morning. Free agency will probably be Friday or so... in fact, Friday would probably work well for me so if you guys can work out a specific time amongst yourselves during my absence, that would be grand.

I will be out of town friday so I will either find a surrogate or email a list.

Need a few backups, so I'll try to resign Travis Lee and Carlos Guillen. If they want offers I will offer:

    Lee - 1.5 per year, 2 years
    Guillen - 1.5 per year, 2 years

Friday sounds good to me. I would like for it to start around 7 central time if possible.

I apologize for sucking so hard, but I'm mad ill and I need to recover so that I can not be miserable on my trip. With this in mind... I realize that I could use this time in which I'm explaining why I haven't updated with trades to fill trades and update. The only shortcut I'm taking is not uploading box scores from the World Series - sorry, NYK, but I'm sure the glow of the championship will soothe any violent hatred you feel for me.

Its cool, just make sure I get to see the 35-spot I put up on the Royals. The next time I'll be able to see them will be late-Sunday so make sure they are up then.

    Zac

I'm going to be gone this weekend from like Friday afternoon to Monday late night. Since you will probably be doing most of the offseason work, I'll email it all to you (FA, Draft, Spring Training).

But if you guys wanted to save the draft till Tuesday, I'd be much appreciative, lol.

I meant don't take them off of the site before then, jackass. If they aren't there Sunday, its fine by me. As long as they aren't lost by that time.

Forum's back up. Let me sincerely say woo-hoo. Free agency will commence at 4:45 central time Friday, the 28th, tomorrow, however you want to put it. And please, guys - keep your FA lists short - get what you need - and make realistic bids. You're not going to get Jason Isringhausen for two million bucks, for example - this will make free agency easier on all of us (well, me, and isn't that what matters?). :D

But 8 million for a middle reliever is good, right? ;)

SF3, just looked at your lineup and realized that I maybe didn't tell you - Lee and Guillen both wanted offers. I initially offered what you said to - neither would sign for that. Lee eventually signed at 1.75 for 3 but Guillen would not sign for anything close to your offer. Sorry for not telling you earlier, it slipped my mind...

No problem. Noticed Guillen was gone from the beginning. How he ended up in my lineup is beyond me. He can be easily replaced in FA anyways. Thanks for resigning Lee though.

NYK - got your email, but I can't do anything with something that only says "starting offer" for free agent X. I need to know whether you want to go higher and by how much - I wouldn't feel right just spending all of your money at random. Send me another email or just let me know here.
