The D-Backs have decided to listen to offers on almost every player in the organization. The only untouchables are Durazo, Millar, Bulger, Dotel, and Buck. Offers for some of the top prospects like Moores, Man, and Olmstead would have to include a prospect to offset their departures. Some of the players who are definitely on the block include: Andy Pettite, Byung-hyun Kim, Mike Stanton, Junior Spivey, Kenneth, Russell Branyan, Corey Koskie, Desi Relaford...just to name a few. Not necessarily looking to re-build, just looking to turn to some new players who are of equal value to the ones leaving. Could use a frontline starter (preferably under 30) that would be a #1 to #3 starter in the rotation. Also, power hitters are always welcome as well as fast, good plate disciplined middle infielders to lead off. If you are interested, make me an offer in this thread, in chat, or by email at jfyoung@charter.net. Thanks
Available for the RedBirds- SP Curt Schilling: Good Average Brilliant Brilliant A He may be 37, but his contract expires after this season which will give someone room to sign others, and he is still a dominant starter. I mainly want prospects in return (could use a prospect C), but a replacementer starter would be nice also(although it's not a necesity if the prospects are talented enough). 1B Tino Martinez: Average Good Fair E E D Tino is getting up there in age also, at 36, but he was my 2nd best RBI man last year with over 130 and made the all-star team I believe. Once again, I could use a prospect C. But, if I can't find one, a decent 1B/3B and an average prospect may get it done. 2B Fernando Vina: Good Poor Fair C B C I really want to keep Vina, but I've got another SS/2B ready to play. I need to deal either one of Vina or Renteria. Vina hit well over .300 last year, and had over 80 RBI's at the lead-off spot. He'll make a good leadoff/2nd hitter on any team. A prospect would be ideal for Vina. SS Edgar Renteria: Average Fair Fair A B B Edgar is definitely a starting caliber SS, with good speed and defense, but I am going to have to bench him next year if I can't trade him or Vina. Make your best offer for Edgar... These are the available players for my mini-rebuilding. Drew, Pujols, Smith, and Morris are my only untouchables, so others can be involved in deals. I could trade any one of the above guys with Marrero or Johnson to upgrade at C.
Everybody on the Sox is available. Luis Gonzales. Shawn Green. Those are the two big names left. Want prospects in return.
M. Jackson Jr. 20 SP Good Brilliant Good Brilliant B M. Charleston 18 RF Average Brilliant Brilliant E E C S. Perez 18 1B Good Brilliant Fair C D D 3 of the top prospects that can be chosen from with the pick..they can be yours. I like the pitcher, but don't want to wait for the development of another prospect pitcher. I like the hitters, but at OF and 1B I am completely full. So I am looking to trade the #1 pick. I would like a single stud prospect for it, rather than several lesser prospects. Position-wise, I would like either a pitcher that is still young, but also about to be or already MLB ready, or otherwise I could use a 2B or SS.
SF3, I have a few stud prospects I can part with for that number one pick...come in chat when you get this message so we can talk.
DHR: Hopefully you'll come to chat before midnight tonight. I sent you an email about a Buck for Schilling deal from work. Haven't heard back from you, so I'm wondering if you ever got it. Let me know if you are interested.
IVFL, if you ever read this message, come into chat whenever possible. I am interested in a few of your prospects... So I will propose this trade: Torii Hunter (Younger CF than Lankford, has some of the best defense in the game) Alex Cintron (SS prospect, is in the top 100 prospects) FOR Barfield (Your Prospect 2B) D'Angelo Jimenez (to replace Cintron) And either Groover or Cyr If the deal needs to be tweaked any, come to chat or reply to this message. Thanks.
The La Wakefields want to win. With such a close playoff race last season, additional support must be had. So, with that all prospects and future draft picks are available not including one rick ankiel. The Wakefields are looking for immediate talent in the area of second base, third base, lf and the starting rotation. Don't delay! Sevigny, Diggins, Chen, and many more could all be yours!
Get at me about Curt and Tino if still on the trade front. You can e-mail me at leebigez@aol.com. I'm the bluejays
Curt and Tino have already been traded. **************************************** Also, just want to say that Russell Branyan and now closer prospect, Phillip Man, are available. Let me know if you are interested.
Well, SP Lightyear James (F-B-B-G, A duration) is on the block. I can package him with Eric Milton for a better starting pitcher, or trade him for another prospect. I don't want to trade him directly for a major leaguer; the salary would probably be too much and I don't have a lot of needs.
I am in need of a good backup catcher. I am possibly willing to part with Brian Buchanan or maybe even Jason lane to get a quality guy. CK
Dean, I believe we were speaking of a deal yesterday. I think the season starts today or tomorrow, so if you can come in chat, I would like to strike the deal we had in place by Friday, if possible. If you can also be on AIM, that would be great.
I'm putting it out there that the Quintuplet Crown winner and NL MVP is on the block ( Todd Helton ) im only taking offers for tonight and *maybe* tommorow I want younggg studs
#86 prospect Keith Simon, a 19 year old G-A-A lefty outfielder with an A throwing arm is on the block. There won't be room for him in my outfield in the future, so I may as well trade him now. In return I am looking for a nice closer prospect. May be able to package others with him.
