well, that concludes it. Yao's going to have an aweful career. All hype, no substance.

Are we comparing Bogut and Yao or just amusing DeAleck and his random observation (that probably doesn't warrant any type of discussion at all)?

 

Yao is also the only #1 pick bigman to have had to worry about carrying the hopes of an entire nation on his back during his first game. Not to mention the hype leading up to his first game was extraordinary. Try to play to your best in those situations.

 

Conclusion: Bogut is or will be much better than Yao.
