And probably the only team to remain that way in Texas for a long time.

    stop the drooling. pls.

that said, i feel like the spurs era has finally ended with tonight's loss. their ages have finally caught up with them. dallas has already missed their window and committed a final suicide this past season. so maybe if we stay healthy next year and on, it could be our time once again.

The phrase "hollow victory" sums up the spirit of this thread...

I love my rockets...but it's getting old with the back2back harping...somehow it just reminds me of tinman's farcical nostalgia nonsense...

maybe you just don't love the Rocket's championships.

    v93-95 > v3.0

    v3.0 > tinman :D

I'm just saying that going up to a Spurs homer and chirping "Oh yeah, well you never went back2back" is getting weak.

    Last time I checked 4 > 2
and consistently having 60 win seasons with going deep into the playoffs every year > perennial first round exits

i didn't make this thread up.

    4 > 2 yeah

but if you wanted to compare the actual teams, Dream Rockets > Duncan Spurs

Duncan Spurs > Yao/Tmac Rockets?? Yeah. its true.

I hate the spurs too, but facts are facts.

And might I add we brag about 2 things that happened 17-18 years ago? Do Blazers fans brag about their 1977 title to Nuggets or Jazz fans?

    wait...

how do you agree that spurs 4 titles > rockets 2 titles

    yet Dream's rockets > Duncan's spurs

    homerism has made you confused

the more correct statement would be I love my back2back Dream Rockets more then the Duncan spurs

its not that hard, that dream rockets team if playing duncan's spurs team, would win.

    V3.0,

Then take solice in knowing that the Rockets are on the rise, while it appears the Spurs are on the way down.
