Apparently, things are so busy in LA even their own writers for the Sports section don't manage to catch the Laker games. From *THIS MORNING*'s edition:

Uh, the "myth" of Yao, eh? Even after last night's game? Pathetic.

More media disrespect; from Yahoo's partner, Fanball.com:

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/fanball/20021118/fanball-rocketsmingperfect.html

Is anyone out there still keeping track of negative comments so we can send'em collective "TOLD YA SO's" as the season progresses?

    Ok, one more:

From the San Diego Union Tribune:

Hey, it's ok to keep Yao's performance in perspective... he *did* score against guys that are nowhere near the level Shaq's at. But even so, that's a lot of disrespect for a phenomenal performance.

I kind of like that as a nick. Nice counterpoint to Olajuwon's "Dream," without being completely derivative. Yao "The Myth" Ming.

    What?

A big man with three-point range? Gotta be a myth!

You think that weak-a$$ $h!t can get past our man in the middle? What a myth!

...and so on and so forth...

Like Shaq, Yao won't be playing for the Gold in '04.

Unlike Shaq, it will be class as Yao tries to lift his country's team.

Like Shaq, Yao will wear NBA Championship RingS.

XIKI :- For dsomeone without a birthday, location or interests, you have a lot of guts making a post like that. Especially when you have seen so little of Yao Ming. Yao Ming is only taking his baby steps, while he learns how to play the NBA Game. Experts seem to think that Yao Ming will be the great one to take over from Shaq in due course. Only time will tell, at this time YOU dont know!

I agree champ, a person should read a post before spraying insults. I guess reading would not be one of your "interests" eh Yetti?

Long time coming. Try a "Reading Comprehension 101" class and get back to us.
