    Hornets to the Rockets playoffs:

    Look at the four teams with the best records in the NBA right now. Two of them built via draft:

    OKC (formerly Seattle) -- sucked and had high picks year after year. Current core: Durant, Westbrook, Harden -- all their own high lottery picks.

    CHicago -- sucked for a decade after Jordan and got high picks. Current core: Rose, Deng, Noah -- all their own high draft picks.

    The other two teams have formulas that you can not copy:

    Miami -- Riley is a wiesel and Florida has nice weather -- hence the superfriends.

    SA -- Simply the best management team in the NBA and continue to find gems from unlikely places.

    It's clear which direction we need to go.
