Do you guys notice that only child are usually puss? I was lucky to be born with 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I use to get my ass kick around when I was younger, but it made me a tougher person as I go older. I never took no **** from anyone in grade school to high school. Unfortunate for YAO MIND, he is the biggest puss I've every seen, except for Shawn Bradley.
Is this not a fact? YAO's got game, but he is just too weak inside. Too many time he fall on his ass and get the ball snatch away from him. SF just makes stupid decisions most of the time. Assist vs TO rate.
Actually being an only child makes you stronger. You won't have brothers or sisters to have to fight your battles for you.
He certainly was weak in this last game (Sonics). He was slow to the ball, and let everyone else get to it. Yao needs to at least try to jump for a ball every once in a while. The rebounds he does get, a good portion of them are bobbled away.
I actually think criticizing Yao is appropriate. This is a 7'6" man who has the HARDEST time grabbing rebounds. Just look at how many offensive boards Seattle and Denver have gotten. What's worse is that Yao is getting his hands on rebounds but having them knocked away. It's frustrating. While Steve had vastly improved in his passing and leadership on the floor, Yao has not shown any improvement in intensity and aggressive play. This is a plawho should be averaging 12-14 boards a game, and is instead averaging around 9. When you consider how those lost chances mean possessions and second chance points, it becomes invaluable to your team.
Yao is weak...and also slow and tired. But what the hell does being an only child have to do with being weak...? Anyways...Yao lived in basketball school since he was 14.
Only Child don't experience the same ass whipping as other kids do with their older brothers or sisters.
