The 4 guys are KG, TD, JO and Zach.

Shaq comes close, Elton Brand will probably be there, Yao comes close.

Although Yao takes less shots per game:

    JO 21 games 177-393 (20/10)
    ONEAL 19 games 142-268 (19/11)
    TD 18 games 158-298 (23/13)
    KG 21 games 208-429 (23/14)
    Zach 19 games 169-328 (22/11)

    YAO 20 games 121-244 (17/10)

Now imagine Yao takes (or allowed to take) more shots per game... I know he still has long way to go, but read these stats compare to last year, he improved SIGNIFICANTLY! I can't believe there are still many people complaining.

    Allowed to take?

Trust me, Yao gets more than enough touches to take 20 shots per game if he wanted to. He chooses not to shoot as much, which is probably what most people criticize him for...

Yao is coming along pretty good but the fact that there is only a handful of players that are 20/10 a night also shows how weak the league is getting...

Zach Randolph is shooting 52%, Yao 50%.

A funny thing Hubie Brown said about the TrailBlazers:

He said that they intimidate people with their long front line but they are fake. If you get physical with them they wilt under pressure.

The Grizzlies totaly abused them in the 2nd half of their game, I am guessing you guys got physical with them also with all the Cato highlights I saw on ESPN.

It is more due to a league with zone defense.

Zone is designed to take away star players' shots. If you are a star and teams want to stop you, they can do a lot to harass you by putting two even three bodies on you.

The league is weak because of fewer 20-20 guys? I do not think so. The Lakers alone cost 2 20/10 guys to be left off the list. But the Lakers are much stronger!! The Maves probably also have 2 20/10 guys won't be on the 20'10 list due to the fact that they are on the same team.

I just caught the end of PTI on ESPN and they were talking about Yao.

I wonder what they were saying.

wilbon asked tony (holding up the yao mask) if he will ever get all the hype that lebron is getting and tony(yao) said that yao plays for a team that is 13-7 and lebrons team is 4-15 or whatever they are and that yaos team is going deep in the playoffs. then wilbon asked tony (yao) "what about that guy tony kornheiser that said you would amount to nothing" and tony was like "never heard of him".....kinda lame really

If you caught the end, however, you would have heard TK say, "In two years, I'm beating Shaq and TD, and NOBODY will stop me!..."

Those are huge national props, especially from a guy who predicted Yao wouldn't amount to much.

And, btw... Around the Horn is good for entertainment, but if you only had to watch one of the two, watch PTI.

Before the league became so 'weak', and before the zone, how many 20/10 guys were there per year?

I would've thought that it would only be a handful of players any year!!

I don't know about Randolph, but Rasheed is definitely reluctant to get physical inside. We had Jim Jackson guarding him a lot last night, and even though Jim is a good defender, Wallace should have been able to post him up and abuse him inside. But it never happened. If Randolph weren't on that team, they would be hurting right now.

PTI is 2 guys arguing pointlessly.

Around the Horn is 5 guys arguing pointlessly.

PTI is easier on the ears.

Yao's achievement of a 20/20 is special...and him averaging 20/10 will be a good step. Still, he could be averaging 20/15, 20/20...hell, you think of anything that's not Wilt-esque and there's a possibility of Yao doing it. I think that's why some of the fans are "disappointed"; they expected an MVP this year. At least he hasn't hit the sophomore slump.

    PTI is better

Horn is lame because of Kellerman everyone sucks up to him for points, especially Marrioti. The only good thing about the show is Woody Paige who will argue and tell Kellerman to shut up, that show would be nothing without Woody Paige
