I'm a little shocked the rockets have not added more players to their roster. It appears they are content with not having a full squad, am I missing something???? C. Parsons L. Scola S. Dalembert G. Dragic C. Lee C. Budinger P. Patterson M. Camby C. Fortson K. Martin M. Morris G. Smith K. Lowry
Well there's only 19 games left in the season and they just sent G. Smith back to the D-League. So don't really know who they'd bring on board with the rotation already set. We already signed C. Fortson to help with the PG position until Lowry gets back. I'm good with what they have now since the trade deadline has passed.
Do you have a source for this? He was at the Lakers game and I haven't seen an article about sending him down there.
Shoot. What are we gonna do without a random guy at the end of our bench for Clutchfans to pine over? Haha, we'll pine over not having that guy.
With camby and courtney in, they're probably giving it a few games to get a better idea of what they need.
If you've already established a set rotation during the season, not much need for more than 13 players really. Those two spots would either be inactive prospects waiting in the wings, or "specialist" match-up type players & good locker room guys like Ryan Bowen.
We may be waiting on somebody to finish out his contract in Europe or agree to some kind of buy-out. Another possiblity may be the guy(s) the Rockets like being reluctant to sign the multi-year non guaranteed contracts the Rockets like to offer to fringe players. If nothing else, we'll probably sign some dude or or two to exactly that kind of multi-year contract, just in case a salary filler is needed for a draft day deal.
If we are planning on making the play-offs I would say that we need to fill the roster in case of injuries. I think tomorrow is the last day to add someone and have them elligable for the play-off roster.
