Decent chance Pop is no longer with us by the time Victor makes the playoffs.

I also think they hire a woman as his successor and it scares off free agents...

I am not going to say this draft specifically ruined my day today, but it didn’t help.

    Remember, friends, in these times

Honestly though I think we'll be OK, it's suboptimal but blah blah blah where's the roach?

The best comparison I can think of to Wemby is Ralph Sampson. He has all the tools that dazzle people, but he is too soft to bang down low. And too fragile to last a career. One hard fall basically ruined Sampson.

    Agree completely.

I guess Manute Bol lasted a while longer, but with much less usage and basically no interior banging.

Interior banging is much much better than exterior banging. Dry humping is for chumps

    New shirt design.

We tanked all year and all we got was the 4th pick.

I'm still being haunted by Holt of the Spurs screaming "LET'S GO! WHOOOOO! LET'S GO!" after Charlotte got the #2 pick.

If only that had been us, we would have had high hopes for years of watching a star set records, and the kind of entertainment we haven't seen since the days of Hakeem and our Championship team.

I'm looking forward to the time they are so irrelevant I no longer have to listen to CRAPsketball on 790.

ps Drop the national feed because it is totally irrelevant to Houston Sports fans.

Remember the "stick man" from Gonzaga a year ago who was all the rave in the draft. I predicted he wouldn't make six months in the NBA. He didn't last that long. The "Victor" guy is another stick man. He is skilled. So was the other guy. I don't think he will have a long career in the NBA. The Rockets "lucked" out.

for what it’s worth I think Chet is gonna be the most dominant sophomore not named Paolo. I’d trade #4 and other assets for him.

Eh, nobody under 40 is stupid enough to care about the gender of the coach. FA's won't go to SA for the same reason they've never gone to SA. The city sucks for rich people.

Rigged, that’s pretty obvious. However, obvious tankers like the Pistons and The Rockets don’t deserve the 1st pick. I think they got punished for their shameless tanking and deservedly so. Especially the Pistons, I would even suspend them from next year’s draft if it was up to me. As for the Rockets, just too many years obviously tanking, and possibly only Jabari Smith to show for it.

Throw in Dimwiddie as a vet PG please. All their picks back plus this year no. 4 if not Scoot. For Bridges, Claxton, and Dimwiddie. Nets won’t do it, but they need to blow it up and they need their own picks to do it. Take out no. 4 and I’d do the Nets picks for Dimwiddie and Bridges.

But the Spurs do? They flat out tanked before season started
