I've noticed something about my online banking statements.

Debits that are made at a restaurant where I have left a tip only show the amount of the check less the tip.

For example, we ate somewhere the other night and the bill was $51.75. I tipped $8.25 to round it up to an even $60.

My online banking statement only shows the $51.75. What happened to the tip money?

Mine tend to show the amount less tip immediately and a day or two later the amount changes to include the tip. I assume this is because the restaurant runs the original tab through to ensure it is accepted and later runs it through again to get the tip in.

Bank of America is partnered with a lot of international banks.
When I was in France, all of BNP Paribas atm's were free since its a BofA partner...
