HEY ONE WAY TO MAKE YAO PLAY BETTER..... i think one way for Yao to play better....call him out. Jeff Van Gundy should open his mouth and tell the media Yao is playing like a sissy. not playing aggressive enough. say that Yao should be a lot better and needs to be more confident. Phil Jackson did that to Shaq and Kobe...and they stepped up their game. what ya think? think Yao will play better if his coach publicly criticizes him?
He won't do that, cause he should call out Francis way before he should call out Yao. Since I've seen JVG give nothing but praise for Francis and take it that won't happen anytime soon.
Yao's performance in the 1st half of games is usually far better than the performances he puts in the 2nd half of games.
I think Van Gundy should make Yao listen to Slayer's "Reign in Blood" in its entirety before every game.
A better idea would be replacing Power Dancers with Choir Boys to serenade our players when they are under the pressure
If you really want to improve Yao's play, I think the threat of bamboo shoots under the fingernails would go a long way towards achieving that goal.

I agree with you. Steve Francis can be so much better if he wants to, I see he has the ability just don't have the mind set. Rox is only going as far as these 2 superstars take it.
why not,i think it may be a good idea! In fact, stress isn't a bad thing it is often supposed to be. Criticism will irritate him and make him more energetic.on the other hand,i dont fret that Yao will leave because of that,cuz he is not a man of this type!
I agree with you. There would be anti-American riots in China. Fans will pressure the Yao-team to demand an apology, JVG's head, a trade or all of the above. LOL
