One thing everyone needs to understand.

Rape is about violence, power trips. Rape is NOT about lust.

Sometimes I just feel like entering a monastery.

For her to have the nerve to say that after what they did is just pathetic. Lock her butt up too.

They should have been allowed to beat it out of those kids after what they did. What are the cops supposed to do give them a cookie for lying to them and not saying what they did? Give me a break woman.

There is just something major socially wrong here. First of all, his friends weren't horrified. They were watching and helping him. What ever happen to the days when perverts knew they had to act alone? And the parents. That one gives me a clue right there - insisting that her son was a good boy and could not have been charged with this kind of thing by any reasonable process. That's the worst - when parents believe their kids are perfect and invincible. No wonder the kid believes it too.

Innocent until proven guilty. How did the authorities find out about this? It is still possible, however extremely unlikely, that the woman just made this up. I'll wait until more facts/evidence is posted before condemning the child.

If he is guilty, I would imagine that there is a strong possibility that he was being led on by the older kids. Eleven just seems so impossibly young.

    How noble of you...

I agree, but it really doesn't matter who led him on, seems like even at 11, any kid should know that this is wrong.

Damn, in Germany, the kid couldn't even be convicted for anything he did before he turned 14...I think we need to lower that age...

Here's the way the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal is reporting it.

4 boys charged in repeated break-ins

Police say 11-year-old sexually assaulted woman, 76, in home

A disabled 76-year-old woman who lives on a limited income told police a group of juvenile boys broke into her home repeatedly, sexually assaulted her, ransacked her home and stole jewelry and other items, including $4 in cash, according to charges filed Wednesday.

In a delinquency petition filed in Children's Court against four youths - two 11-year-olds, a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old - the woman describes a series of encounters that she said began Labor Day weekend, Sept. 5 and 6, and ended Saturday.

At times, she said, the number of youths who entered her home at will numbered as many as six, including a 16 year-old, who tried to rape her.

Police said Wednesday that no 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the case.

The four youths were arrested Sunday by police and are being held in secure detention. In the delinquency petitions, the four are charged with criminal trespass and burglary. One of the 11-year-olds is also charged with second-degree sexual assault.

Beginning Labor Day weekend, the woman told police she began having trouble with some juveniles who broke windows, entered her home in the 4300 block of N. 17th St. and took about $4 from her, according to the petition filed by Assistant District Attorney Katharine F. Kucharski.

She said the boys also picked up books and threw them around and threatened her with a piece of iron, the petition states.

She said that after the juveniles left the first time, she barricaded herself in her garage to get away from them, the petition says.

One of the 11-year-olds, according to the petition, estimated going into the woman's house eight times. He said he and other juveniles would "mess with her" by calling her names and asking for money, but that they got money from her only once.

He said that every time they went into the house they did so by crawling through a window that led into the foyer and then pushing open the front door. The juvenile admitted going into the attic, kitchen, living room and her bedroom, taking jewelry and a checkbook from the attic, along with a clock. In the petition, he says that he tried to rape her. "The juvenile reports that the lady never said, 'no,' but knows she was 'frightened because of how her face looked,' " the petition says.

The woman said that she did not call police "because she was afraid they would take her to the Mental Health Complex, as they had done in the past."

When the woman was given an examination for sexual assault in mid-September, workers at Aurora Sinai Medical Center's women's assessment center told police the woman had suffered injuries as a result of the sexual assault, the petition says.

The woman was subsequently detained at the county Mental Health Complex under the belief that she was in need of services and unable to care for herself.

According to the petition, police said there were numerous windows broken at the woman's house and that she was unable to secure the residence.

"The only place in which she was able to lock herself safely was the attached garage area," the petition says. It adds that the woman is "physically unable to protect herself due to her age and health problems."

The woman told police the youths also threatened her with sticks. One of the youths told police the $4 taken from the woman was later returned, according to the petition.
