    Check this out:

Now this list wont be entirely accurate, but next year the big prizes in fagency could be Posey, Al Harrington, Jason Terry, KVH, and a bunch of restricted rookie players. And that's if those players aren't re-signed. KVH and Terry most likely will be imo.

07 fagency could be better, or it could be worse depending on if the rook class of 02 sign extensions next year, whether or not the big players(Pierce, Jamison, Bibby, etc, sign extensions), and if there are any "breakout" type players that show up as fas.

Seeing what may be available the next two years justifies the teams trying to build their teams now, since there really isn't anything to "save" their money for.

It also means that for the most part, teams are going to be needing to look to the draft and the players developing overseas to fill in holes. Don't count on the rox to be able to land anyone significant with the MLE next year. And if they miss out this year - :(

Prior to this past season, I don't think players like Simmons, Joe Johnson, or Larry Hughes were as highly regarded as they are this summer. So there's there's really no way to tell how next year's free agents look. Who knows what players may have breakout seasons.

You forgot Peja and Ben Wallace for next year. The biggest reason that the next two years won't look so promising is because the top blue chip guys on rookie contracts will probably get locked up to max deals: Amare, Yao, Wade, probably Melo and Lebron depending on if he's happy in Cleveland.

That's a lot of talent at the top that probably will never hit the market. You got to hand it to Stern and company. They've really given every team in the league a good chance to retain their own draft picks, and FAs.

Big men possibly available next year:

    Ben Wallace
    Drew Gooden
    Nene Hilario
    Kandiman
    C-Webb
Cato - lol That's the Rockets contract
    Tony Battie
Joel Pryzbilla (I actually think this guy would make a great twin towers combo with Yao; long and not too slow of feet either)
    Nazr Muhammed
