Dunno if it's been touched, but there's been the "Rox respond after double digit losses". I think there is a bigger positive aspect to look for in Game 4.

I think the adversity (something others have touched on) will fire us up, but not as much as maybe having only lost by 3-7pts would have or even winning. I don't think if we win game 3, we'll be able to close it in the 4th/5th game.

Basically: Us losing in the style we did is going to motivate them more.

It's pert near impossible to come out that bad in game 4. I hope we show some fire!

Here is what I think, and hope. The Rockets really didn't play that well the first two games yet they won. Since they won there was no consequence for not being in tune on offense. Now the team has seen the possible consequences, so they will get their act together on the offensive end of the court.

The way Utah was whining, and crying and begging for every call they made, they were desperate. The fought and clawed with everything they had, and came out on top. If we can pounce on the them early we severely weaken their confidence. They are vulnerable. We have the pieces to do that. Even if they make a run and still lose, it will be too much for them to handle.

That same thing would help give our team the confidence it needs in their offense to keep it up.

It is much better that the kind of game the Rockets played last night came in game 3 rather than game 6.

We just need to come back and take care of business.

if we need a double digit loss for the players to be motivated in game 4 of a 2-1 series in the playoffs, then we have problems. But i agree, i expect the rockets to jump out and dominate. I want 50!!

I hope that you're right and this motivates us

We were still in it for a while...even shooting that badly.
