The way the Rocks played the Blazers should be noticed around the league. The way we played them should be the way we play all the teams that we have a disadvantage athletically against. And its the way most of us want to get away from.

    The way to beat Portland?

Running the boring, hated, most cursed offense most of us would like to see Rudy change. Running the half court offense is what kept us in the game. And if we would of ran, ran, ran like alot of people would like, we would of gotten ran right out of the building.

And that is why we must continue to develope a HALF COURT game because when games are this big, and in the playoffs when its do or die, half court basketball will beat full court run and gun every time.

Developing the half court sets should be priority for the next few games. We already know that this team can run. But its not the way to win games. Winning requires execution. And as we can see, the Blazers don't like half court ball. They usually fail against teams that execute it.(Jazz being the prime example.)

If we continue to develop and get the team on the same page, we can still make some teams think about the Rockets instead of just circling their calendars as a easy win.
