    conservatives are not necessarily republican. there's a pretty long tradition of conservative democrats in certain parts of the country, and an honorable tradition of liberal republicans in others.

    If McCain wins the Republican nomination forget about having any conservatives to choose from for the presidency. We'll be voting between two liberals as presidents whether its Obama, Hillary, or McCain. Different party, same policies.
