We need to remember the incredible roster turnover we have had for 2 straight seasons. JVG has stated that we were not ready for prime time. We have lots to work out including rustiness, chemistry, and rotation. If this team stays healthy we will be a contender. That being said, a couple of observations:

Mutombo looks very old. Why not use Juwan as a backup center in some situations?

I think JVG gave up on Novak too soon. I hope that doesn't last all season.

If anybody could have hit a shot, Rafer would have easily had 10 assists.

JVG should use VSPAN and Hayes when we obviously need a spark.

TMAC needs to go to the hoop more. He takes way too many bad shots in momentum swinging moments.

Clutch, there should be a one month suspension on any member who starts a thread saying rockets suck after a single game.

I know what you mean, one game, people alway overreact.

Even the most optimistic person couldn't have thought we were going to go 82-0.

Roxs will bounce back with a strong performance on Sat. nite

After all the hype, all the "Bet On Us" crap, all the interviews, the thousands of excited posts pumping each other up about how great the team is going to be, all the predictions, all the off season hoopla, all the months of waiting, after all that, did you really think the fans would just go "oh well" after the "clunker" last night? Read the front page and Clutch will summarize for you everything posted in the GARM. Same points exactly. I am amazed that you are amazed that the fans are reacting this way. I am not surprised at all.

It's really tough to read the board after a loss.

    Tmac is garbage...

    Yao is a fool...

    Rafer is an idiot...LOL

I guess some people are just having a sad life so they try to take their anger out here.

"I'm perfectly calm, dude. Calmer than you are."

"This is what happens when you f**k a basketball game up in Utah!"

    "You see what you get!"

    Problem:

WE are out muscled on the board. battier got beaten severely!

    Lesson:

I think what last night taught us is that we cannot play small every night!!!!!!!

    Change:

a)Play howard for crying out loud. Did he get into a fued wif van gundy or sth? I know howard sucks, but hes the best pf we got.

b)Trade for a guy like troy murphy. except for his contract, perfect fit for this team.

I actually kinda hope we lose a couple more games so these idiots:

    A) Go jump off a bridge
    B) Go jump on some other team's bandwagon

Then the rest of us can enjoy the season in peace.

I can understand the rage many fans felt after the loss. The game was very unacceptable, but there are still 81 games remaining. Remember the team started 6-11 two years ago and they still won 51 games. I think once the team gets better chemistry and Bonzi returns to the team to help out the bench, we'll be alright.
