That guy can't catch a break. WHEN he plays he's a beast. But that isn't often. He should go to the NBDL. ;) :D

For some reason, Amare is seldom labelled as "injury-prone" like Yao Ming and T-Mac.

That's because Amare isn't on the Rockets. Otherwise he would be the most injury prone player in the history or basketball or something.

Habitual thing with Amare. Like McGrady. Like Shaq. Like a lot of NFL football players. They don't want to play preseason. Shaq is so bad he don't want to play but about 50 regular season games.

I think Phoenix's window has closed. Nash makes the whole team work. He's getting older. Amare is a lunkhead. And Shaq is obviously over the hill. They just don't have enough juice to get to the top of the WC.

Phoenix should have kept Joe Johnson and never made the Shaq trade...can you imagine that lineup? Nash, Johnson, Hill, Marion, Stoudemire.

I'd say Amare is labeled as injury-prone.

I think the point is, very few people (on this board) question Amare's worth on his proneness to injuries. Whereas, lots of people think we should get rid of Yao and T-Mac because they don't play enough games to worth the money they make. In fact, some posters even suggested that Yao was worth less than a role player who didn't get injured.

Wade is another one nobody mentions. Since he came in the league, T-Mac has easily played more games than him. Wade stay on an injured list.

Wade has also made it out of the 1st round several times and won a championship. T-Mac? None of the above.

    True, but Wade had Shaq.

Tmac had Andrew Deqlarq. Go look him up and yoou'll see what I mean.

Yeah just a SLIGHT difference between D-Wade and T-Mac....

Congrats, Ikorose! You've won the Rockets homer award of the day!

Oh I forgot since '04 when Wade came into the League, he's played in 315 games.

T-Mac has played in 329 since '04. Not a huge difference.

As Rockets fans, we should be more concerned with why T-Mac still has the same nagging injuries from last year right now. He should've stepped up his rehab; to me it appears that he's as lazy as Shaq.

You are right. Tmac is better.

Right because he's been injured that doesn't have anything to do with unfortunate contact or conditions on the court but has all to do with his rehab. So with this logic are you saying that someone like say Yao , whom is known for his dedication to working out and rehabbing, gets injured is it because he's lazy with his rehab?

please support your arguments with some logic and unbiased evidence, K thanks.

I wonder how the rest of the country (outside of Houston or Phoenix) would view the draft choices between Amare and Ming. Which would they say was the better choice?

I know that everybody on this bbs would say Ming, while everybody in PHX would probably say Amare.

How long are players with dislocated fingers expected to be out?

Without a doubt Les would say Ming. If for anything, the Chinese fan base Yao brought with him.
