So I went to my first Rockets game this season vs. the Magic. So how funny is the clapping video that leads to the Hoosiers movie clip. Just looking at the players clap once on que during the shooting of the video, and their faces makes me laugh. Also, the rally video. Waving rally towels above their heads, looking goofy already, and then there's Yao...waving it like a propeller in front of him. AW MAN, I was dying from laughter! The players have to be laughing at themselves, and as a fan I love the vids. The new "attitude" with the intro movie and marketing campaign is a definite win for me. I like it. I also liked the Luther Head video they showed during one of the timeouts.
i personally love all of the videos, especially the new intro. just watching those clips of dream taking david robinson to school gets me pumped. and no matter how much i hate techno, the old school into music rocks!
I was there at the game too. Those videos were awesome. I loved the Luther Head video where Clutch the Bear was putting him through rookie initiation.
My favorite part is when Wesley yells, "COME ON HOUSTON, MAKE SOME NOISE!" in a very unserious voice. Always cracks me up. Now if he could just make a shot.
I liked the video clip at the Astros game ... as they were doing the 'stomp-stomp-clap' from "We Will Rock You", they showed Godzilla and King Kong doing the stomping and clapping. Pretty friggin' hilarious!
Anyway to get a hold of those videos for those that are out of towners? They sound very interesting and funny.
oh yeah, that one caught me off guard. I said, whoa...poor guys, as I watched each player clap or wave a towel. T-Mac seemed pretty hyped...Yao did not, hahaha!
You mean Clutch's big "drawz?" hahaha it's so lame, but so funny. Remember when Head was giving Clutch a massage? Clutch has a "badunkadunk" doesn't he??? You could set your lunch tray on that thing if he was standin up!
Sweet, hahaha! mutombo clapping = awesome. How funny would it be if they just had mutombo come on there, "who wants to sex mutombo?" then show Sura faint.
Maybe someone on the inside could convince Rockets.com to have the videos available for download? That would be awesome!
That was definently the highlight of the new stuff that is going on at the Toyota Center. They did that during the playoffs last year but to have it where they collage it for the starting lineups really brings back some bad ass memories and gets you hyped up. I still wish the Music was a just a bit louder and the bass was pumping to make the place rock.
Did you notice that the bass was rockin at first, then totally went away?? Then the ingame music was barely audible. What's up with that?
