    this monday i was waiting for the train so i bought an instant scratch-off gamecard:

    i won $10 on the first card. (Odds of 1 in 11.9)

    so on the next morning (tuesday) i used the $10 to buy another one.
    i won $50! :D (Odds of 1 in 125)

    Today i used another $10 to buy another one.
    guess what?
    i won another $20! ;) (Odds of 1 in 50)

    should i stop right now or should i continue to buy until i dont get any prize?

    My view has always been that you always gamble any cash prizes you win under 50 bux since it's technically free and lucky money :D

    i rarely buy any lottery ticket because the odds are lower for small prizes and the chance of hitting the jackpot is slim to none

    Of course I know that, I spend around 20 bucks a year on powerball, just hoping one of these days I can retire. If not, well no big deal. ;)

    When i used to buy the scratch offs i would would always buy like 5 of them cause odds were 1:5 or so. Usually i just made my money back. The most I ever hit was 100 bucks.
