I thought I would get this thing started to see who is still interested and if Smeg comes back and runs it, all the better. However, if he is too busy and unable I will work on keeping the league going. So we need to find out who is still in out of the players from last year, which are listed below, and who would want to take the place as there sure to be spots opening. Let me know if your coming back or interested.......rules and everything will be similar to last year, unless people want to see changes. I would like to come back but I'm still off staying with people so I wouldn't know when I'd be able to do the draft. I'd certainly like to be in, but someone might have to draft for me.
One of us needs to contact smeg to see if he is coming back (I doubt it) and to get his password for the site. Then we need to send an email to Mike at Fanstar to see if we can still get the discount (I doubt that also) We can all pitch in to help pay for the league. If there is no smeg then there is no Paul so that is 2 openings. The latest we should start the draft is the middle of august, but the earlier the better.

Count me out. We had a great run of these leagues, but my job is waaay too bsuy for me to keep up properly. Thanks to Smeg, BobFinn*, and fadeaway for taking care of these leagues.
gonna have to say no guys, certainly for running the league anyway, wouldn't mind particpating but not even sure about that, just don't have the time or the interest in a league that 75% of people lose interest after the first month... happy to email Mike and try to get the discount and also happy to pass on the passwords let me know
Rball -- I recommend sending a mass e-mail out to all former participants explaining the situation and asking if they want to return. Some people don't check this forum regularly, and I know PSJ doesn't even have regular access to the BBS anymore. The e-mail addresses can be gotten from the team pages of the league website.
I emailed everyone in the league from the website, to hopefully get a response by Sunday at which time will start bringing up those that want to join. Hopefully, after that we can set the draft time and draft order next week. I'll give up my spot this year. I know I'm one of the ones guilty of losing interest after the first month, and with a new job and new school and all that other stuff that I have this fall, I don't want to potentially take a spot from someone who really wants to play. I'll participate in a couple of other leagues, but I'll open up my spot in this one for somebody new. It's been a great fun, fellas.
I will let you know where we are as soon as I can check my emails to see who has replied, seems to be down for the moment. Hopefully, have something later this evening----trying to get caught up here after losing all my money in Vegas this weekend.....
Here is who is comitted to play this year, from all of the ones that responded - I have included those that asked to be subsitutes to replace the ones I never got a response back - 14 teams total. I never heard anything from Crisco or RM95, so I assume they are not coming back. We need to decide when would be a good time to start the draft so it is not too far before the start of the season, but we get it completed. So any suggestions, let me know, otherwise we will try and keep everything similar to last year.
