I miss Calvin @ the games. Him and Bill were awesome together. He had no reason to be kicked out, and then when he was proven innocent he should've been immediately reinstated.

I've mentioned this more than once here. Murph was one tough S.O.B. when he played. Didn't matter that he was one of the smallest guys in the league. He'd open a can of whup-ass at the drop of a hat. Players learned not to mess with Calvin. Murphy has always been one of my favorite Rockets players. Folks now just think of the dude wearing the funny suits and eating lots of cookies, and forget the amazing player that all of you would kill to have on the team today if you'd seen him play back then.

I don't care if Calvin didn't do anything that he was accused of by his daughters, the fact that he did such a sh#tty job as a parent that his own flesh and blood would accuse him of such horrific, horrific things makes me forever lose all respect for him. What a creep.

Or his flesh and blood were lying and spoiled little brats.

I'm not saying they were or weren't, but there is no evidence of which it was.

Also side note: How bad of a parent you are is not indicative if you deserve a certain job. If that was a criteria then A LOT of people would be out of their job.

Well, if the job's in entertainment, I think it's completely fair play. If a personality is involved in something that makes them less popular, then they aren't entitled to those jobs.

Furthermore, your kids don't do that if you're any semblance of a good man. If your kids are that sh#tty, you did a real sh#tty job as a father. To me, there's just no way for me to envision Murph as a victim of circumstances outside his control.

Anyway, sorry if I derailed your thread with stuff more belonging in Hangout. I think it's a cool thread.
