Hi guys, long time reader - relatively first time poster. First of all I want to say how much I appreciate you guys sharing Rockets games, I live in Australia and even though I have ESPN - we rarely get Rocket games here, so thanks Rockets2K and everybody who's shared! I guess the reason for the post is.. I miss the Red and Gold, and by this I mean our championship years (before we started wearing those horrible blue/stripe pyjamas). I've followed the Dream's career ever since I watched my first Rockets game (92-93 playoffs Vs Seattle game 7) and ever since then have been a die-hard Rockets fan. Sadly, I don't have recordings of ANY of the memorable 94-95 playoff games (VHS tapes that have disintegrated). It was by far the most magical 2 months of my die hard Rocket fan life. I want to watch again Hakeem and Clyde score over 40 points each against Utah, as well as their come from behind victory in game 5. I want to watch Hakeem completely ruin the Suns in game 3 of the second round, and then for the Rockets to come back from 3-1 down only to win it by a hair in game 7. I want to watch Hakeem embarass David Robinson in game 2 right after the MVP ceremony. Game 5 and of course.. game 6. The finals... Sorry for being overly dramatic, but I guess where I'm heading at is this: Would it be possible to start a nostalgic ride as we approach and experience the 2007 playoffs, by sharing game videos of the magical 94-95 run? I urge you to please give to those in need in this time of joy and prosperity! I haven't watched those games in a decade, and I'm sure a considerable amount of Rockets fans here have yet to even witness them at all. I'm just putting the thought out there. My expectations are 0. But I would be grateful if it were possible.
I'm looking forward to them putting out a DVD box set for the second run to go along with the one they released this past year. Evan
i want the first run. i want the hate given to by Houston's own press "CHOKE CITY" and then the response by the heroes. I want the MVP trophy ceremony to Dream... The 1st!
