Yeah, we'll find out soon enough but who should face LSU in the championship game? Do you care, does it matter?

OSU - they lost on the road in 2OTs.....

They beat 7 teams with winning records vs 3 for Bama...

They beat more ranked teams, and won their conference.

    I want OSU vs LSU......

Ok. State. Alabama had as good a chance as they could and they still couldn't pull the win.

    Oklahoma State.

They have the more impressive resume and what Bama did in 2009 2010 etc shouldnt matter....

Not to mention Bama had their shot and lost at HOME.

Though I think bama will get in based on the reputation of the SEC and they have the bigger name...

West Virginia and Oregon put up more points on LSU than any SEC team did.

Georgia Southern put up more points on Alabama than any SEC team did.

Maybe part of the reason for the vaunted SEC defenses is that they have no good offenses in that league. I'd like to see the best of the Big12 vs the best of the SEC to see who's really better.

Has Bama really only beaten 3 teams with winning records?

Ok. St. I do not want to see a national championship where the score will be 3 to 6 or whatever it is.

Oklahoma State won me over tonight. I still think Alabama is better but OSU won their conference and hasn't already lost at home to LSU. Alabama doesn't deserve a rematch.

I'll be fine with whatever happens.

I do not want to see a game where LSU scores 50-60 point while holding OSU to 3....that gimmick offense will not work against a SEC team...the recruits Alabama gets are all NFL bound

Since when is Oklahoma State a gimmick offense? Oregon and West Virginia, which play similar styles, put up more points than any SEC team did against them. West Virginia runs the exact same offense as OSU with crappier players - their head coach is OSU's offensive coordinator from last year.

I'd like to see some new blood.

I'd like to see Oklahoma State play LSU. Their resume is impressive.

That's interesting. Dana Holgersen, the WVU head coach came from OSU. Similar offensive system, but OSU is more polished, experienced, and has better players.

All the more reason to see OSU vs. LSU. The so-called gimmick offense put up the 2nd most points against LSU all season with inferior players.

Based on what theyre saying on ESPN in regards to what OSU needs to happen it seems like theres a good chance OSU will be there but they're acting like its all but a done deal with Bama. Maybe I'm missing something

Also if Bama were to win we are we are probaly getting a split national title. So basically we are getting a rematch/dull boring game with really not a whole lot on the line.. DO NOT WANT

Going into this weekend, Alabama was #2 on basically every voter's ballot. Okie State was a mix of 3, 4, and 5 with Stanford and VaTech. VaTech is gone, so that helps. But Okie State has to pass Stanford on every ballot where they were behind, and jump Alabama on about 1/3rd of the ballots. That's a lot of people that have to change their minds, so that's why I think people assume Alabama will be there. You figure SEC coaches will leave OSU at 3 or even 4 behind Boise State. Big12 coaches probably put OSU at #2. Hopefully coaches in other conferences also put OSU at #2, but they certainly weren't as of last week.

ESPN has done a good job tonight of presenting the stats - like Alabama's 3 wins over ranked teams. But whether any voters are actually watching this late and going to consider changing their minds is unknown.
