Phenomenal game! You'll hear people say it was a bad game, but that is what people always say in a defensive battle, and this was a defensive clinic! Oklahoma was the better team. Florida State couldn't get ANYTHING going offensively. Oklahoma is the best team in the country without a doubt. Still need a playoff system though! ------------------
Florida St. really missed Marvin "Snoop" Minnis tonight. FSU's receivers dropped countless passes that should have easily been caught. Even with that, I don't think they could have beaten OU tonight. That was the best defensive performance I have seen all season from any team in college football. Holding FSU to 2 points is unheard of since they were the #1 offensive team in college football this season. It should have been a shutout had it not been for that botched snap with 2 minutes to go in the 4th that caused OU's punter to take a safety. J.T. Thatcher, Rocky Calmus, and Torrance Marshall (MVP of the game) all played superb defense. OU's offense did just enough to post the win even though they themselves made mistakes on offense that could have led to them having more points. But all that doesn't matter! Oklahoma proved to the Nation who is #1! ------------------

Just think: The Sooners won the National Championship with a team recruited by John Blake. In two years, Bob Stoops has one Big XII Championship, one National Championship, and is undefeated against ranked opponents. It makes me sick to think what Bob Stoops could do with Mack Brown's talent in Austin (that's a different post). Congrats to the Sooners! ------------------
I was impressed! What a game! I though FSU would be too fast, but Stoopes did a great job! Now let's see if my Buckeyes can steal Stoopes away from OU!
The Texans should hire Mack Brown. We will play like the Houston Oilers but with a Texans' Longhorn on our helmets. Can you say Jack Pardee? Seriously, the Texans needs someone with NFL coaching experience like Butch Davis. I don't think Bob Stoops ever coached in the NFL. In fact this is Stoops 2nd year as head coach at any level and he's a champion already. ------------------

No he won't. He'd have to be insane, Ohio native or not, to leave the #1 team in the country after a national championship for one not even in the top 25.
