OK so refs lose it for rockets!! rockets miss some crucial free throws. but how i see it is if somehow the rockets came back then they would have made some bootlegged calls on the rockets so that the mavericks could win. Just like the buzzer beater mc grady missed they called it a 2 pointer. There was no way rockets could have won. David stern is all mad because it's leaking out that he's the one telling the refs to let which team win which series. If dallas and pheonix plays then more rating = more money if rockets and pheonix play = less money. it's all about business and this is how david stern does business. So i don't blame the refs, I don't blame mark cuban, but I BLAME DAVID STERN. I can't even enjoy watching basketball no more. The funniest call was when the ref had a jump ball by dikembe when stackhouse fouled him. Ref throws the ball all the way to stackhouse side and stackhouse wins. Dikembe is 7'2'' and stackhouse is like 6'6''. Man if the refs want to cheat try not to make this soo ovbious. Stern you need to come up with a better plan, because business is all planning. You don't even have the jeff van gundy 100,000 dollar fine on you site no more because you look like a jack a$$. it's like "YOU TALKED ABOUT ME" then you tell van gundy "YOU OWE ME FOR TALKING MESS" "GIVE ME 100,000 THOUSAND RIGHT NOW SO I CAN FEED MY KIDS" ok stern so the truth is out the NBA is fixed refs cheat you let it happen and nobody wants to watch it. ratings goin to decline big time = less money so don't make stupid decisions. I'M TIRED OF THEM STUPID CALLS

How is Rockets and Suns playing = less money?

I would think having Yao and TMAC in the playoffs generates a lot of money.

you dont think that the nba marketing wise would be drooling over houston-miami?

    tmac/wade? shaq/yao? brother/brother?

    unsung heros=damon jones/eddie jones/bob sura/mike james/jon barry?

c'mon now. yes the refs have sucked. maybe even cost us a game. but its not a conspiracy.

David stern a monopoly. He calls anything. He wants van gundy out he'll fine him 100,000 dollars. He wants to watch detroit and pistons he's goign to do that by taking out antoine walker and not take out jermane oneil. But just saying like lately with all the gay calls basketball is soo frustruating and boring to watch.

Sorry i meant dallas and pheonix. yeah I remember when mobley and steve francis played for houston and every fouled they would cry about it. Not it's more than about wimpy fouls. I hope mobley has another protest against refs. I'll join his protest. Cuttino mobley style.

The biggest revenue generator in the playoffs right now is the Rockets. So the money argument makes no sense.

My opinion has been that the league really wants to discourage the traditional big man, they don't like it because it is "boring". They want more finesse/guard oriented play than anything else.

I have watched Miami PLENTY this season, and I can tell you that even the Daddy himself is horribly officiated. The only reason Shaq doesn't get in as many foul troubles as Yao is because he doesn't go out and defend the PnR, but instead just stays back there to clog the middle. But still, Shaq gets in foul trouble a lot, and he is quiet pissed about it as well.

So Yao and Shaq are in the same boat, the only difference is that Shaq might still get the benefit of the doubt because he is a proven veteran player who is the most popular single player in the league today. When Shaq speaks, people listen, so I think the refs have been slightly more careful with him.

Still, traditional big men are just horribly officiated in the league today.

.. can we lock this thread? If anyone's read my past posts, I don't talk like this, nor do I start a thread with such a title. My guess is a friend's house or at work, but that's another story.

Either way, sorry for the runons and the long "paragraph."

yes... honestly. I know it's kinda easy to assume that I'm lying, but if any of you read any of my past threads, I can assure you that you'll find a difference. I left some posts earlier in the rants section; therefore, there really is no reason for me to start a thread. I called a friend who kinda knew what happened, but it's too long of a story for me to go into. I guess I'll just go ahead and apologize for this thread getting started. It's a thread that I wouldn't bother reading, much less participate in. The only thing that caught my attention was the name. I promised that I looked over the spelling at least 10 times with my jaws dropped wide open.

At any rate, sorry once again. I'll make sure I take care of this problem.

haha, good question really. perhaps the way I talked? I really just don't wanna get associated with this thread, much less bumping this thread a million times trying to explain myself. Like I said, just search my old threads and you'll be able to tell a difference. I really need to stop using the save password feature in Firefox....

Definitely not the usual candlegreen-type threads/posts. And not the kind of stuff he'd say, either

    LOCK! Wasn't done by him.
