Yes Nash, Chris Paul, Deron Williams blah blah blah.

Calderon in the last two months (where he has been getting starting time with TJ Ford out) has been putting up numbers that perhaps make him the most efficient guard in the league. Here are his last month's averages according to Yahoo!.

FG% FT% 3PM PTS REB AST STL BLK TO
    .577 .962 1.8 14.7 3.3 10.0 1.7 0.0 2.2

His FG% (even when counting big men) and FT% are highest amongst the league. His AST/TO is around 4.5 - add on to that 1.7 STLs (a defensive asset Nash never has had) - are you kidding me?

That is seriously one of the most efficient stat lines I have seen in a long time. In the last two month's, he has been in the top ten for fantasy leagues by averages. More props to Calderon!

But if you take away age, I would take Nash and Paul over Calderon in a heart beat hands down anyday. Probably williams too unless Calderon can hold this up for more than a month and increase his scoring average.

I'd take Paul, but not Nash. I think Calderon is way, way underrated.

It's nice for me ... I picked him up off waivers on my fantasy team and he's the #1 reason why I'm dominating my league right now. This guy is the elite point guard nobody knows about.

Did Ford recently return? Are they going to keep both of them (is Calderon a free agent anytime soon)?

By not having Calderon and longoria on the this year's all-star teams, the nba is depriving fans from good basketball!

I imagine Calderon is about as untouchable as you can get right now. He could arguably be in the All-Star game this year.

Calderon is to Spanoulis as Wilt Chamberlain is to Kelvin Cato.

    Toronto would never trade Calderon.

Dream on! The Raptors know what they have. They won't be trading him anytime soon.

What the hell? Where are these trade posts coming from - I think people mistook this for a Rockets thread.

You're right about the Raptors not trading Calderon, but they probably would trade TJFord, if we would be interested.

Why do people keep bringing up Calderon trade ideas? Who do the Rockets have to offer that the Raptors would want? And...

They have a great basketball mind in Colangelo running the team.

    Stop dreaming. It won't happen.

Some people really jump ahead of themselves - there isn't a single mention of trying to trade for Calderon in the original post. How about Calderon is remarking at how outstanding of a player he is yet gets no mention compared to other top tier PGs who have constantly gotten threads in the NBA Dish. Stop jumping to typical Rockets forum conclusions people!

I'm one of the guilty people, my bad :p Calderon is completely awesome, hes easily one of the most efficient guards in the game and has single handedly saved all my fantasy teams.

Brian Colangelo is not an idiot. The only offer he'd probably take it seriously is Yao for Bosh + Calderon. Other than Yao, Rox has no appealing enough asset to trade, maybe after Landry and Scola play well for a full year.

TJFord will have chronic injuries problems later on in his career, book it. He'll just be a PG version of T-mac.
