God, that thread was just a joke. Dont understand why everyone is freaking out.....go ahead and flame ... just wondering why everyone cant just laugh it off....
uhh the locked one started by me in which people cried in outrage because they had silly popups all over their screen for a few minutes.
While I didn't lock it, I was tempted to, and probably should have... the bad part about that thread is that there could be people at work working on something and not know how to get rid of that window. The only thing thing they could do is power the machine off because they don't know a way to get it to go away. Either that or freak out and power their machine off as soon as they heard it loud enough to rattle neighbors through their speakers. No telling how much harm you could've caused by getting people to click it. Not a good "joke" for those people. I'm locking this thread... you've given your apology. Let's move on.
Yup. I was working on a column when the pop ups crashed my machine, causing me to lose all of my work since my last save. Thanks.
