Ok, refs helped giving Utah game 4

can see why we went to the FT line more in game 2 ... because Yao and Tracy drove to the basket frequently.

But in the first 3 quarters of game 4, we drove to the basket as much as them, and the refs gave us jack sh*t. However, everytime Utah drives to the basket, they get an automatic whistle.

Utah has practically double our FT attempts, but our agression is the same as theirs. TMac spent the entire first half driving to the basket, and he got NOTHING .... NADDA ...

The best example of a BS call on us tonight? The LATE travel call on Luther Head, 5 seconds after he travelled. LOL. It's like a fan reminded the ref Luther travelled, and then the ref makes the call ... whatever ...

I'm not blaming the refs for losing, but it does seem like they've reversed more calls in this series (in the Jazz's favor) than I've ever seen before. The Luther travel call after the crowd reaction is just one example.

How are you blaming it on the refs when we can't make a basket? The refs aren't shooting the shots for us. Quit blaming it on the refs and blame it on the Rockets poor shooting, bad defense on Williams, etc.

If you blame the refs, might as well rename us to the Dallas Mavericks, lose 4 in a row, and sit our asses down.

refs hurt, but rockets need to have more composure than to let some bad calls get to them and totally break down in the 3rd like that. Refs aren't the ones being lazy and giving up wide open jumpshots. Rockets need some leadership badly in situations like that. Unfortunately, our best leader is mutombo.

We were down 20+. Is that how much the refs messed up? Because when the Jazz piled up a 21 point lead, we were still playing all our starters and supposedly going hard.

Don't be silly. This wasn't a one or two possesion game, except POSSIBLY the last play of the 3rd quarter which could have put us down 16 instead of 21 and gave us a chance at making a run.

This is about T-Mac smiling near the end of the game. What the hell is he smiling about? For his sake, I hope he's smiling because he can tell the future and can see us winning this series.

I'm going to put together a clip of blown calls from this game. I know, the whole foul goes to the aggressor thing. But when the "aggressor" is the defender, off the ball, grabbing and pulling, it's just crap.

There were many bad calls made in that game, no doubt. It seemed there were many more "light contact" fouls called in favor of the jazz. Then there was the Luther Head traveling thing where the baseline official pointed at his feet while NOT blowing the whistle as if to say "his foot stayed on the floor"...

But the refs didnt cost the Rockets the game. Their lack of intensity and focus cost them the game. Proper officiating makes this a 15 point blowout instead of a 25 point blowout....

Very true, but it is hard to ignite something when the momentum has been shifter from the outside, it's not a defense, it's a mitigating circumstance.

It's a FACT that home teams get favorable calls. But that's not the reason the Rockets lost this game. They lost because they played a crappy game and the Jazz were a better team (at least tonight).

To be fair, the refs played a more significant role in game 1 & 2 than this game. Let's just hope we get enough favorable calls in the remaining two home games to get past Utah.

You could also say that because the games in Houston were a bit closer so those calls stood out more....
