    Train - Drops of Jupiter
    I really like this record.

    Matchbox 20 - Mad Season
Didn't like this at first but it has really grown on me

Indigo Girls - Rites of Passage

Train is great....I have both their discs in my player right now. Drops of Jupiter is a strong follow up to their first album, and that one was a hard act to follow.

    I am also spinning:
    Eric Clapton - Reptile
Counting Crows - Across a Live Wire (2 discs)
    Lenny Kravitz - Greatest Hits
    Dave Mathews Band - Everyday

Well, for now I'm just biding time til tomorrow when the new album from The Cult comes out--Beyond Good & Evil. That is going to be one ass-kicker of an album.

    Also--

Weezer, "Weezer" (2001) -- awesome album.
Megadeth, "The World Needs a Hero"
    Buckcherry, "Timebomb"
    Eve 6, "Horrorscope"
    Tool, "Lateralus"
    Toadies, "Hell Below/Stars Above"
    Marvelous 3, "ReadySexGo"
    The Tories, "A Wonderful Life"
    American Hi-Fi, "American Hi-Fi"

    I'm listening to:

The Violent Femmes - Best of
    Marvelous 3: ReadySexGo, Hey Album
    Superchunk: No Pocky for Kitty
    Reflection Eternal: self-titled (I think)

TheFreak: Beyond Good and Evil is Nietzsche's most famous book (though not best by far)... will the album actually have much to do with the title?

Yeah, I've never heard them and I almost buy the CD every time I go to the record store for that reason alone!

Can't go wrong with a music thread

Beastie Boys - License to Ill (a few more spins, and I'll have the entire disc memorized)

Limp Bizkit - Significant Other (Gotta get their other two albums...The Matt Pinfield rant at the end will always be a classic)

Aerosmith - Big Ones (best "greatest hits" CD ever made)

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Greatest Hits (2nd best "greatest hits" CD ever made)

Reel Big Fish - Turn the Radio Off

    Anything from the 80's

    Anything by Weird Al Yankovic

    Pulp Fiction Soundtrack

I too am listening to the latest from Weezer

I read in an article that they're already in studios recording for their next cd. They said they want to try to put out a new cd per year. It's a shame this new cd is so short though, it's still incredible.

In my car I'm listening to Bad Religion "New America"

Bad Religion's easily my favorite punk band, their music never gets old.

I have a massive list of cd's I've been meaning to go out and purchase.

    Top 2 on my list
    Tool "Laterulus"
    and
Sum 41 "All Killer No Filler"

I've been on a burning frenzy lately and I've mostly been listening to stuff that I've burned.

NPG Music Club - February (Prince's music club)
    NPG Music Club - March
    NPG Music Club - April
    NPG Music Club - May

From the Ladies - I (One song from every female band or singer in my CD collection)
    From the Ladies - II

More Stuff I Should Consider Buying* (a collection of tunes I got from Napster or Audio Galaxy. I had to make a "More" disk because I bought a lot of what I put on the first volume.)

Bob Marley (a disk full of my favorite Marley songs.)

    Bjork - Homogenic
    Mr. Bungle - California

    ----------
    * There is a song by Ky-Mani Marley that I really like called "Country Journey". It's my current favorite song. Very beautiful song.

The album is good, I love it.

Is "New America" a new album, BGM? I stopped paying close attention to what Bad Religion did after Grey Ghost (think that is the right album). I saw them 3 times in concert... but I guess I thought that they broke up or something because I haven't heard anything from them in a long time.

If "New America" is not a new album, forgive me, I don't know their stuff as well as I should.

As for what I am listening to right now:

Megadeth: The World Needs a Hero
    Tool: Lateralus
Alice in Chains: Nothing Safe (Best of)
    Megadeth: Rust in Peace
    Megadeth: Countdown to Extinction
Days of the New: 2nd album (both were untitled)

I think you're talking about "Gray Race". They've actually put out 2 cd's since then. "Stranger than Fiction" and "New America". "New America" came out last year. It's typical Bad Religion, right now they're working on another cd and they're bringing back the original guitarist from like 6 years ago.

I can't get enough of Bad Religion...
