...where does it rank amongst the greatest upsets of all time,

Remember, now, that ESPN, SI, Fox Sports and every other national media outlet gave this series (in a sweep, no less) to LA about 10 days ago.

    So, how 'bout it?

Personally, I say it's top 5, somewhere close to Super Bowl III.

I think it could be the greates upset for a 7 game series. Probably not the greatest upset ever (Jets Superbowl, Buster beating Tyson, etc) but in a 7 game series it would rank pretty high.

Based on last night, I would have to say it is possible. All you have to do is pray that Kobe doesn't find his game and then foul Shaq at key moments during the fourth quarter. If he had shot, say, 60% from the foul line, Lakers win.

What is the likelihood that Kobe will stay in his one-game funk? Not good.

Can Iverson really score 50 points a game every night without getting significant help from his mates on offense? Mmmm . . .maybe

Either this will be a wake-up call for the Lakers and they will come out and destroy the Sixers over the next 4 games, or this is an indication that the games will be close. If they are close, watch, out LA. Hack-A-Shaq works very well!

If the Sixers win Game 2, we might get to see how well the Zen crap works in the playoffs. Finger pointing and ego-tripping will again erupt in the LA locker room.
