i have been in mexico visiting the gf's parents, i have only seen the socrs to the no/ok and gsw games, i saw they were close.here are my questions: 1-howd we look? who looked good besides tmac. 2- the signings hows in,whos out? 3-did bill saw yao back in two weeks, some said they thought they heard him say that. thanks, cant do research in mex with dial up.
Yao won't be back in 2 weeks. Mostly, there are a lot of BS rumors flying around from the usual suspects (unreliable Chinese newsites, etc) Stromile looked good for the last 2 games, w/ 26/13 and 17/13 against Golden State and New Orleans, respectively. Everyone's hoping that he can keep it up. Also, Juwan is his usual, professional self, even if everyone disagrees with me. That man is nothing but a positive influence on the Rox IMO. TMac straight up looks depressed on the court without Yao. None of the roleplayers are hitting their shots, surprise, surprise, but without Yao's inside presence, Tmac is really getting smothered. Plus, TMac looks tired as all hell. He's trying to do too much but he's more worn than when he was in orlando. Some random scrub C/PF Josh Davis was signed along w/ John Lucas III. The latter got a few seconds of playing time in the NOK game. Stephen Graham was waived. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
1-howd we look? who looked good besides tmac. Rockets don't have that 'Team Flow' that championship caliber teams have, but on the contrar, besides T-Mac, Stomile has looked great and Lil John Lucas' hustle last game in the final seconds were awesome~ It actually almost got us the tie. 2- the signings hows in,whos out? Alston just came back, JVG said he IS our starting PG, so he started right away, his shot was off, his speed was great. It is really REALLY sad when the PG is the first one to bring the ball upcourt every time before anyone else crosses the line, we need more hustle obvisoley. Swift is coming off the bench even though he should be starting but it's alright, he is bringing the quality we need off the bench. DA is out, Davis checked in last game for a minute, got a foul because he wasn't to suppoed to be in, then left. John Lucas III showed great hustle, he can be an inspiration to this team and MIGHT possibly get us a win or two from it if he shows it night in and night out. Baxter fouls alot, and shows how undersized he is. Head is bringing hustle and great defense, his shot is starting to resurface, he is very foul prone though since he always goes for the steal which is good in my mind. 3-did bill saw yao back in two weeks, some said they thought they heard him say that. I haven't heard anything offical that is new, last I heard it will be somtime in Feb~ not sure if it's early, mid, or late Feb, lets cross our fingers for the first of the three.
