Remember those Texans fans that said we should have kept Tate over Foster because Ben Tate played with heart and played throuhg 4 broken ribs (in a contract year) and suited Case Keenum better

Yo OP, how about some context??

    Per ESPN
Yeah, there's always people ready to throw away our All Pro RB for whoever the backup is. Even worse, there were plenty ready to ditch Arian over Alfred Blue after a few preseason games--give me a break! At least Tate, at one point, appeared to be capable of carrying the RB1 load...

Not sure what happened to him!

Remember before the season where everyone hated Foster and he was being such a diva and wanted him gone, blah blah blah.

Well they all love him now lol.

Remember when teams put waiver claims for Ben Tate, but LeGarrette Blount cleared waivers...

I confess. I didn't think Tate was better than Foster or that he should replace Foster; but I did think the Texans would miss him as their backup.

Yes, this was a pretty widespread believed thing too, not just a few crazies. Reminds me of the Courtney Lee > Kevin Martin deal a few years back, but this was even less justified. Texans fans seem to really under appreciate Foster for whatever reason.

I never wanted Ben Tate over Foster, but let's be real about Foster. This has been his best season in the last three years. He's breaking arm tackles again and looking like the Foster of old. If he would have continued playing like he has over the last few years he would have been a cap casualty at the end of the year.

It's great to see him back though. I'm not sure if it's the new system or if it's the extra rest from only playing in 8 games last year.

well it make me a hyprocrite if I said I was one of those C Lee> Kevin Martin people because I was one of them. To me C lee was better defensive wise and while he didn't put up the "stats" like Martin did, he fit better with Dragic running the point.

I said it, in the thread about the texans record, Kubiak killed Foster in that year with over 300 carries, so of course next season he needed surgery and didnt play as good, now with more rest, he played great.
