Jordan is tired of his mess, might be willing to take salary cap relief in the form of V-Span for May. If he gets in shape he could really be a solution at the 4 long term. I'd even give up Head for May because i think replacing head would be easier, as well as he played. There is talk out of Charlotte that he could/ would be expendable, they could use the scoring punch of someone like Head. in 59 career games he is averaging 10.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in 21.3 minutes per game.
I like may. Plus wasn't he a lottery pick? I think he was part of that great UNC team. He is really fat though, its natural fat like bonzi and big baby.
he's a big body. we need a big body, but only for the right price. head, although he is a turnover machine, might be a little too much for sean may. head is our only GREAT three point shooter on the team as well
ya i know, but Matt Carroll and other shooters could be had in free agency or the draft. and if May survives Van Gundy he will be in shape he could really have an impact.
Hahahaha, how about Rafer Alston for Brevin Knight, not only is he a pass 1st pointguard, hes a pass always PG.
While the Bobcats suck, they seem to have a lot of young talent upfront and May could be the odd man out. May could be a diamond in the rough...he has the physical tools and his skills are decent. I'd like to get him for the right price. If we give up Head, the Rockets must improve their 3pt shooting in other ways (upgrade Rafer for he can only nail the straight away 3 well).
brevin knight couldnt hit a barn with a rock and you expect him to be able to shoot in our pg 3 point shot heavy offense. yall chew out rafer now imagine the treatment a 5'10 point gaurd who cant shoot worth a ****.
contracts match up perfect for V-span, maybe entice them with the rights to Illyahu playing overseas as well... its tough what else we could give them since May is still in his rookie contract.
his stats are nice too. 10-11 points and 5-6 rebounds in only 21 minutes. Reminds me a lil of stromile when we were getting him production wise.
You guys are out of yall's mind, Luther Head is averaging 11 ppg as a sixth man in his 2nd year, dude if he learned how to dribble like Rafer, he would be our future PG, no doubt. He is a very good 3 point shooter, decent mid range, makes his free throws, he can pass when he wants to. You guys are gonna see, Luther will have a lot of clutch performances in the playoff run, he is gonna be our Barbosa.
He will never be a barbosa without a handle and i doubt he magically gets a handle by the playoffs, you gotta give up a better guard to get a decent young big. Charlotte needs points off the bench as well. it could work, open up some minutes as well for Vspan or a free agent like Carroll (another Charlotte player)
I never said he should shoot 3s, he could take mid range shots, which he is good at, or go for layups, and if his shot isnt going for him, he will defenitely pass the rock like crazy and create tons of points, if he creates then he makes it easier on the rest of the team, you guys kno whats the reason T-Mac's shooting percentages arent as good anymore, because he has more responsibility as a passer, if you get a passer, he will be fearless, thing I hate about Rafer is that once he misses, he will keep on shooting, because he tries to be a hero, but Brevin Knight when he doesnt have things going for him, he finds other ways to produce, like dishing it, he could be the perfect PG to give a lot of assists to Yao Ming.
I'd give them Rafer for Knight, but Head's stock is higher than May's at this point. With our team, the PF doesn't have to be anyone extraordinary...just someone who does garbage work and I think Chuck Hayes is pretty decent. Luther is valuable because he allows Mac to either rest or swing to the point.
