Don't want Garcia against Realmuto again. Wait for inning 4 or 5

If Verlander can't get out of this, Garcia needs to start the 3rd. Just start over

At least we don't have to listen to the announcers sulk for the whole game like last night...

Smoltz and that Dodgers announcer sounded so bummed out at JV getting out of that.

I think he has a flaw in mechanics when pitching out of the stretch right now. Same thing against Mariners and Game 1 of this series. Once guys get on base, he consistently misses the 4 seam fastball high. Wasn't an issue vs Yankees because none got on base, and they swung at all his off speed.

Someone was pointing out that he was pulling he head and both toward 1st base more with his movement in those situations.

Not sure the reasoning for it. Maybe he is trying to compensate on something after the injury late in the year?

Everyone knows JV gets stronger as he goes deeper, that's why they try to jump him early. If he's settled, then it'll be lights out from now on

Speaking the truth about him isn't hating

He has been horrible in every world series game he has played

He gave up a homer first pitch tonight and 2nd inning, bases loaded

    He's trending down, not up

Can he pull it off, sure but all the criticism is warranted

Someone noted Sydnegard may be limited to 35 pitches prior to this game. So not sure if he comes out next inning.

If I'm Philly, I throw him out there for the 4th to try to steal some outs.

I think Syndergaard can go 5 innings.
