Astros Hitters Legs are injury prone.

No Hustle in this Team, Take it easy, why run hard.

    Jose Altuve - Knee Surgery
Alex Bregman - Pulled Hamstring (Not Risking any Hustle due to Free Agency, Big Money)
Yordan Alvarez - Both Knee Surgeries
    Kyle Tucker - Leg Fracture
Chas McCormick - Fracture Hand, Pulled Hamstring. Batting Stance is upright and ineffective. Not Crouching low like Jose Altuve.

Just realized this team has lost 6 straight home playoff games.

If Hinch is mad at being fired, he should blame himself, Alex Cora, Carlos Beltran, and maybe Luhnow. He knew what was going on and either didn’t stop it or didn’t have control of the clubhouse.

Certainly not disparaging your right to feel this way, but this statement seems a little off when you compare the two teams and playoff runs. 1996-1997 Rockets team was really damn good and IMO the best Rockets team to not make the Finals (2018 is the runner-up).
    • Rockets started the season 21-2. Astros started off horribly.
    • Rockets won 57 games despite Barkley missing ~30 games. Astros had to fight tooth and nail to get to 88.
    • Rockets swept the first round of the playoffs. Astros obviously are not sweeping the first round.
    • Rockets were basically anointed to be the team that would finally challenge the Michael Jordan Bulls of the 1990s. I even saw Bulls/Rockets Finals tees on clearance at a store after (wish I would have bought one). Astros are underdogs to get to the WS.
    • Stockton hit the game-winner on a dirty pick-hold by Malone in Game 6 in the WCF, which eliminated the Rockets and sent the Jazz to the Finals. We were cheated and I will never forget it. The Astros had a tremendous rally in Game 1 yesterday and almost came back in the 9th.
You do you, but I disagree.

Should be the other way around with Crane wanting to take down Hinch. If Hinch would have stopped it, especially after Manfred's memo after Boston and NY got their hands slapped then he wouldn't have been fired. Hinch is the reason Altuve is booed and hatred on.

You can cope by 'knowing' we were going to lose, but I work a little differently. I don't give up at anything until it's over. You fight and support your team until the end. People who start the narrative of losing, which is giving up, before it's over so they aren't disappointed have a loser mentality.

Never give up, always fight, always strive, always have the winning mentality.

Oh man. **** I hate being a sports fan at times.

I was entirely too negative yesterday about the game. Yeah, it sucked, we lost. But we still do have A shot today. I don't know how the **** Brown (or is it Kikuchi today?) is going to pitch, but I hope well. If Brown gave up like 2-3 (but through 6 innings instead of 4.1), that might not be bad. Offense has got to show up better today though. I know that's an obvious point to make, but man 1 run ain't gonna win too many playoff games. I know Skubal was on and he's elite, but their bullpen should have been tagged multiple times for runs instead of exactly once.

Bought my sister and one of her friends playoff tickets for todays game for her birthday on Thurs, hopefully they win for her. Suckers were expensive enough! :)

Anyways, I'll be watching (for better or for worse) and try to be positive to root on our 'Stros today.
