One team hit some balls hard…not a lot…but hit em where they aint….and they won The other team missed a HR by an inch…and that ball scorched down the line but right to ‘em…..if it’s 5 inches to the right it’s a tie game. this is why I can’t understand the whole, “they just don’t have any energy today” stuff….baseball isn’t decided by who is more pumped up at the plate. I get it’s a basketball message board, and that TOTALLY matters for hoops…but not baseball… Cool with being disappointed…it’s when it’s turned into a character flaw that it bothers me
Get that weak ass **** out of here. It's easy to be 'right' when you're calling for a loss, but when you're wrong you say 'oh-ho! I'm glad I was wrong!' I know we lost but all of you negative nellies need to own your ****. We had an amazing rally at the end that wouldn't have even happened if the **** you were talking about this team being boo hoo blah blah was legit.
I thought Caratini's ball was going to drop. When I saw J-Hey's swing thought that was going go into the outfield and score at least two.
Man, that carantini hit and heyward hit make you feel like it's not our year. Reminds me of the 2018 ALCS against boston where balls didn't drop when they needed to. Thought heyward was going to give us a magic moment.
That was my thought as well! But I also felt that way in 2022 at one point. It’s postseason baseball. Good news is that Yordan is hitting and we can touch their BP. It’s first to two wins. you win if you pitch well the next two games
We are past Skubal. We can hit their vaunted pen. Could’ve easily won today. Astros take next 2 easily
Not sure if it’s hindsight but I absolutely hate giving them a free out in that spot. I think you have to let Peña swing there.
