I am not advocating against him being generational, I just think in an era devoid of Shaqs, Mutombos and Hakeems, it would not be that hard to make yourself stand out. The thing is it is extremely hard to top Duncan's 5 championships no matter how great he is..... And Duncan was one of the most underrated bigs because people never really talk about him outside of San Antonio in a time without X.com and IG.
Literally NOTHING supports him being the best rookie ever. You type that and say others are incapable of processing what they’re seeing? You do realize Wilt won league MVP his rookie season, with 38/27 averages? Good Lord, you don't even have to look outside of his own franchises history to find two players at his same position that had better rookie seasons. Yes, you can be a generational talent without being the best ever, etc.
Rookie David Robinson and Tim Duncan might have something to say about that… Also rookie Magic, Bird, MJ, Hakeem, Shaq…the list goes on
Wemby clocked in and gave Jokic and the Nuggets major work the other day Rockets would’ve finally had their franchise player if we had gotten lucky on draft night
The Spurs fall out of a Top 4 Worst Record though with a worse record than last year.......looking forward to the Draft.
Sounds like you want to add an age qualifier. And even then, he'd still finish behind Moses Malone and LeBron at the same age. It's really ok. You can be a great prospect and have had a great year without being "the best ever". Y'all are funny. I thought the Lin fans were extra extra.
his rookie year isn't the greatest rookie year ever, it's not even close. He's also not a top 10 player in the league right now, but he's certainly top 20 currently, which for a rookie is completely insane.
